About Me

I am a qualified Level 4 counsellor working in private practice. I work online and face to face in Farnham, Surrey (GU9 7PH).   I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for counselling professionals.  I believe that support around our mental health is critical, especially in today's climate.

I am an integrative counsellor which means that I have a flexible approach depending on you as an individual, I believe that we are the true experts in ourselves but, at times, we need someone to help us reach out to our inner self.

I feel as if everything I have done has led me to where I am now.  From a young age, I have found that people have always opened up to me, sharing their feelings, fears and pain.  Counselling was something I wanted to do for a long time and I see what I do as privilege.  I have suffered from anxiety and experienced trauma that affected me for many years and it was only with counselling that I found myself able to accept that the trauma was not my fault and move on.

I am a naturally warm and empathetic person and a really great listener, I hear beyond the words that are spoken out loud!  I can provide you with a safe, peaceful space that is confidential and non-judgemental.  It's important that you find the right counsellor for you, it is not a case of 'one size fits all'.

I offer short and long term therapy to adults over the age of 18.  Our initial meeting will help you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

If you wish to continue with sessions, we can arrange a convenient time to meet each week for 50 minutes. As I am new to the area, I am offering a concessionary fee until the end of April. and you will remain on that amount until you decide to end our sessions, the fee is payable by bank transfer prior to our session.  I offer on-line and face-to-face sessions.
