I am a qualified Level 4 counsellor working in private practice, based in Box, Corsham. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for counselling professionals. I also volunteer for Wiltshire MIND, I believe that support around our mental health is critical, especially in today's climate.
I am an integrative counsellor which means that I have a flexible approach depending on you as an individual, I believe that we are the true experts in ourselves but, at times, we need someone to help us reach out to our inner self.
People have always found it very easy to talk to me and counselling was something I wanted to do for a long time. I have suffered from anxiety and experienced trauma that affected me for many years and it was only with counselling that I found myself able to accept that the trauma was not my fault and move on.
I am a naturally warm and empathetic person and a really great listener! I can provide you with a safe, peaceful space that is confidential and non-judgemental. It's important that you find the right counsellor for you, it is not a case of 'one size fits all'.
I offer short and long term therapy to adults and provide a 30 minute initial meeting free of charge, where we can discuss your needs and what you would like to get from counselling. If you feel happy to continue, we can arrange a convenient time to meet each week for 50 minutes, the cost will be £45 payable by bank transfer prior to our session. I offer on-line and face-to-face sessions.
